FOLLOW FREJAI wanted to design styles that can “spice” up an outfit and can be easily carried in your bag for a transition from the office to dinner. The whole collection is designed to be stackable and mix-and-matchable, so everyone can play around and add their personal touch to it.
What was the inspiration for the collection?
I created the collection while I was in Seoul earlier this year.I came across some hairbands that featured a plastic square, which served as the primary inspiration for the shapes in the collection. I’m really inspired by “old” ladies dressing up with chunky jewellery. Also, I’m very inspired by the material and colourways I have at home, the collection clearly has a red thread to my interior style.
How has it been designing a jewellery collection with Pilgrim?
It has been an absolute dream. I have loved the whole process from the beginning to where we are now. Crossing fingers, it won’t be my last.
