As a Pilgrim Account Executive, your office is the open road. You're not just selling - you're creating partnerships, opening doors to new customers, and growing your territory. We need someone who loves to sell, builds trust effortlessly, and has a 'seize-the-day' & “in-it-to-win-it” mentality.

Our head office is located in Montreal, but the candidate can reside in Ontario, Nova Scotia, or Newfoundland and Labrador.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in wholesale sales or a similar field.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to articulate ideas effectively.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English due to primarily working with customers from Ontario. Exposure to the French language is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a demonstrated ability to manage customer expectations creatively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • An inclination towards product knowledge to provide informed recommendations and solutions.
  • Familiarity with the markets in Ontario, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador would be advantageous but is not a deal-breaker.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized. Experience with Monday.com is a plus.
  • Strong skills in documentation and information analysis.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
  • Comfortable working in a high-speed, dynamic, and high-energy work environment.
  • A problem solver with the ability to help partners and customers find winning solutions.
  • Possession of a valid Canadian driver's license.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster and maintain existing relationships with our wholesale partners, empathizing with their business needs and working diligently to meet them.
  • Embark on extensive travel equipped with sales samples to visit active accounts and prospective leads, embodying the spirit of our brand wherever you go.
  • Conduct thorough research and preparation before opening new accounts and pursuing leads, ensuring you’re well-equipped to represent our brand and its values.
  • Align Pilgrim's objectives with each account and design business solutions that deliver mutually beneficial results, demonstrating your understanding of their unique needs.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and buyers, emphasizing trust and transparency in all interactions.
  • Contribute to the achievement of sales targets by strengthening relationships with customers, showcasing our commitment to their growth and success.
  • Implement strategies for maximizing sales and profits within your sales region, displaying an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Take charge of trade shows both at a local and national level (2-4 times a year), assisting with show set up & take down and engaging with active and new prospect partnerships.
  • Empower and inspire retailers to promote the Pilgrim brand on their social media accounts, guiding them on best practices.
  • Manage customer orders and order statuses by collaborating with the operations department, ensuring a seamless experience from order placement to delivery.
  • Participate in customer sales events and initiatives, further cementing our commitment to their growth and success.

We are looking for an assistant manager to create and execute the store strategy and operate at the highest standards. You will be responsible to generate sales growth through all facets of your store, visual merchandising, stock control and the development of your team. Our store managers are natural leaders and excellent coaches and provide the best customer experience in the industry.

  • Use the Pilgrim Stylist program to reach and surpass sales goals.
  • Use the Pilgrim Signature actions to promote optimal customer experience.
  • Act as an ambassador for PILGRIM by understanding the company values and story.
  • A PILGRIM store manager is a product expert. You should understand the trends, stories and product details and promote them to customers and colleagues.
  • Ensure the store is configured optimally for a fantastic customer experience.
  • Use the money mapping to make decisions and changes to the merchandising.
  • Maintain strict control of inventory, money, and other PILGRIM assets.
  • Ensure the inventory levels are accurate and maintain a shrink of less than 1% annually.
  • Optimize the store organization, so replenishment is done swiftly and accurately.
  • You will be responsible for establishing a personalized development plan for every team member of your store.
  • Use and create contests to increase the store KPIs and team motivation.
  • Conduct evaluation for every employee of your store. Use the S.M.A.R.T. method to establish objectives and the E.D.O.F. method to train your team for success.
  • Ensure promotions, visual merchandising standards and markdowns are up to PILGRIM standards.
  • Plan the store schedules, so they respect the SR% ratio established in collaboration with the District Manager. The schedules should be done, so it promotes an optimal customer experience.
  • Protect and secure PILGRIM assets through staff awareness and coaching.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to plan and improve store operations.

  • University degree in marketing, communication, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar position.

We are looking for a dynamic sales associate to join the Pilgrim family. The ideal candidate must be a team player with a sales mindset. Attention to detail, prioritization and organizational skills are also essential. We are looking for a candidate who is proactive and takes the initiative. They must also be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

The Sales Associate reports directly to the Store Manager and will be primarily responsible for the following.

  • Maximize sales and customer experience levels.
  • Provide a unique and personalized experience for each customer based on their needs.
  • Act as a brand ambassador and stay current on new products and trends.
  • Perform sales, billing and packaging of items.
  • Ensure that all merchandise is presented attractively and according to store standards.
  • Know and practice store policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that the backroom is well organized.
  • Contribute to a positive and friendly work environment.
  • Appropriately and effectively utilize the store's IT platforms.
  • Utilize a customer approach that minimizes store waste.
  • Ensure that the store is clean and optimized for an unforgettable shopping experience.

Qualifications :

  • Proven ability to achieve goals and deliver an incredible customer experience.
  • Exceptional personality.
  • Fluency in French and English.*
  • Availability to work retail hours (day, evening and weekend)

*Fluent English is required for roles at our Toronto and Ottawa stores, along with basic French proficiency.
