Social media & content creation Specialist
You know everything about social media? You're the go-to person for the latest TikTok trends? Your creativity knows no bounds? You’re renowned for your impeccable taste? If so, we want you on our team!
We are currently seeking a social media & content creation Specialist to join our marketing team at our headquarters in Montreal.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to increase brand visibility, engage target audiences, and contribute to the growth of both in-store and online traffic and revenue.
We are looking for someone with experience in developing comprehensive social media strategies and managing all associated elements, including planning, content creation, influencer marketing, copywriting, and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Strategy
• Develop and implement a content strategy aligned with business goals and the marketing calendar.
• Plan and manage content across all brand platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Create original, creative, and engaging content tailored to each platform (photos, videos, captions, stories, reels).
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager on strategic planning and concept development.
• Write bilingual copy (EN/FR) for social media posts, always aligned with the brand voice.
• Schedule and publish content according to the established calendar.
• Adapt the Danish head office strategy to the North American market.
Content Management
• Design and produce visuals, videos, and posts that reflect Pilgrim’s aesthetic and brand identity.
• Ensure visual and editorial consistency across all platforms.
• Maintain an organized and up-to-date content library.
Public Relations
• Attend brand events to capture exclusive and authentic content.
• Collaborate closely with the PR Specialist to develop partnerships with members of our community (influencers, media, partners, etc.) and create impactful content for the brand.
Community Management
• Engage with our community across platforms by responding to messages, comments, and mentions in a tone consistent with the brand.
• Build and nurture authentic relationships with our community and brand partners.
• Maintain impeccable written communication in both French and English.
Analytics & Performance
• Monitor and analyze the performance of posts and campaigns.
• Produce weekly reports with results and recommendations for improvement.
• Adjust strategy based on insights, analytics, and emerging trends.
Trends & Inspiration
• Stay up to date on social media trends, innovations, and best practices.
• Monitor competitors’ online presence and identify growth opportunities.
• Propose creative ideas, collaborations, and editorial angles to help the brand evolve.
REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role (either in-house or agency).
• Proven experience managing social media campaigns.
• Excellent knowledge of major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads, etc.).
• Strong visual and written content creation skills.
• Solid understanding of analytics tools and key performance metrics for social media.
KEY SKILLS
• Deep understanding of social media and a strong interest in emerging trends.
• Creative mindset with curiosity and the ability to think outside the box.
• Fully bilingual (English/French), both spoken and written.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Proficiency in visual creation and video editing tools (Canva, Adobe, Final Cut, Premiere Pro, etc.).
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a refined aesthetic sense aligned with Pilgrim’s brand image.
• Knowledge of the North American influencer and creator landscape.
• Familiarity with analytics and social media management tools.
• Experience in the fashion, retail, or lifestyle industry — a strong asset.
