You lead the floor and the numbers: driving exceptional customer experience, coaching your team, and elevating visual and operational excellence to grow sales across every facet of the store.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Customer experience & operations

  • Leverage PILGRIM Connect to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Apply retail fundamentals and PILGRIM Signature actions to deliver best-in-class service.
  • Act as a brand ambassador—values, story, and deep product expertise (trends, features, narratives).
  • Oversee daily operations, including cash management and bank deposits.

Merchandising

  • Use Money Mapping to guide floor decisions and visual adjustments.
  • Ensure cleanliness, visual excellence, and compliance with PILGRIM standards (promotions, seasonal displays).

Inventory & loss prevention

  • Own accurate receipts, transfers, cash handling, and asset protection.
  • Keep shrink under 1% annually.
  • Optimize back-of-house and replenishment for speed and accuracy.

Team leadership & coaching

  • Build schedules aligned to traffic and SR% targets, protecting the customer experience.
  • Create personal development plans for all team members.
  • Motivate with contests and performance challenges.
  • Run reviews with S.M.A.R.T. objectives and train using E.D.O.F.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and retain top talent.
  • Partner closely with the District Manager to elevate store operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual FR/EN, excellent written and verbal communication.
  • 2+ years in a management role, ideally fashion/retail.
  • Strong inventory control and visual merchandising skills.
  • Proven training & team development track record.
  • Results-driven sales leadership.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization.
  • Proficient with retail software/tech.
  • Open availability for days/evenings/weekends during peak periods.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations and inspire your team to do their best. Proactive and results-driven, you champion excellence in sales, visual standards, and operations—while embodying Pilgrim’s values.

  • Maintain strict control of inventory, cash, and all Pilgrim assets.
  • Keep inventory levels accurate and maintain shrink under 1% annually.
  • Optimize stockroom organization for fast, accurate replenishment.
  • Build a personalized development plan for each team member.
  • Create and run contests to boost KPIs and team motivation.
  • Ensure promotions, visual standards, and markdowns meet Pilgrim guidelines.
  • Safeguard assets by raising awareness and coaching the team.

  • 2+ years in a management role, ideally in fashion retail.
  • Excellent command of French (written and spoken).
